The Experiment Scientific Requirements (ESR) of the Vip-gran instrument for International Space Station (ISS) is now available. The scheduled flight of the instrument to ISS is 2019. The date of issue of this new ESR is 24/01/2014. Download it: ESR-VIPGRAN _ISS_final
Space Grains
The aim of the Space Grains project is to study the dynamics and the statistical mechanics of an ensemble of particles that dissipates due to collisions. The experiments focus on clustering mechanisms, thermal fluctuations, convection, segregation and physical phenomena related to excited granular systems.
